Two Men Arrested In Fort Pierce In Crack Cocaine Sting

On Thursday, January 10, 2017, two men in the Fort Pierce area were arrested after a confidential informant who was working with the Fort Pierce Police Department made arrangements to purchase crack cocaine from them.

The informant got into contact with the two men and met up with them at a hotel located on the 6500 block of Metal Drive. At 4 p.m., the informant met with a 25 year old man to buy the drugs, according to the arrest affidavit. The man who sold the drug remained in the hotel room afterward to fill capsules with heroin, according to the affidavit.

The man was held at the St. Lucie County Jail with a bail bond of $120,750.

Another man, 31 years of age, was sitting in the passenger’s seat of a car in the hotel’s parking lot. He had traveled with the other man who was arrested. The police reported that they noticed two grams of marijuana close to the door handle of the vehicle and charged the 31 year old man with possession, according to their records.
