Two Fort Pierce Residents Arrested For Several Thefts

Two people in Fort Pierce have been charged in a string of thefts. One of the people who was arrested is 29 year-old Clarence Terrell Ghee. He has been charged with larceny, fraudulent use of a credit card, robbery, two counts of battery and fraudulent possession of another person’s ID.

There were prior warrants issued for Clarence’s arrest for charges of witness tampering, larceny, robbery and fraud. According to the affidavit, he has prior convictions in five misdemeanors and 10 felony cases. Ghee is currently being held in the Breward County Jail. His bond is $9,000.Brevard County Jail records also show that Ghee had also been charged with resisting arrest without violence. Lillian Baylom, who is 30 years-old, was the other person who was charged in connection with the string of robberies. She was charged with retail theft in connection with others. She is currently being held in the St. Lucie County Jail.

The Port St. Lucie Police were called to a store located on 10000 block of Southwest Village Parkway in Port St. Lucie on July 22, 2015. Witnesses stated that a man had thrown a manager to the floor and threw clothing at her. He then grabbed the woman’s phone and credit card.

Ghee was also linked to another theft that occurred on July 11, 2015. Police stated that several handbags were taken from a store located on the 1300 block of Northwest St. Lucie Brevard. Someone informed police that the stolen bags were being sold on Facebook. The bags were posted on Lillian Baylom’s Facebook page the day after the robbery had occurred.

When police officers arrested Baylom, she informed them that Ghee had also been involved in the theft. Ghee had been on parole during the time that the robberies occurred. He had removed his ankle bracelet on July 15, 2015.
