Three Men Arrested For Separate Incidences Of Child Exploitation

Three men in Louisiana have been arrested for separate incidents involving exploiting children online. William Knight, who is a 26-year old living in Hammond, was arrested on charges of indecent behavior with a minor and using a computer to solicit a minor.

Investigators were contacted by Georgia authorities about a complaint that an adult male in Louisiana was engaging in inappropriate online chats with a minor. Investigators also stated that the man asked for nude photos of minor. The investigators were able to locate Knight and arrested him at his home. If he is convicted, then he could spend up to 17 years in prison.

Robert Shawn Ipavec, who is 40 years-old, was also arrested. He has been accussed of distributing porn to minors. Undercover cybercrime investigators were able to determine that Ipavec had videos of child pornography that were available for download. If he is convicted, then he could spend up to 20 years in prison.

Leonard Mastascuso, who is 44 years old, is also facing 20 years in prison. Investigators have charged him with one account of possessing pornography that involve underaged people. Forensic analysis was able to prove that Mastascuso had child pornography on his computer when his home was searched. All of the men are in Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
