Fort Pierce Aggravated Assault Charge Dropped

Last week charge of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon (State of Florida v. K.P.P –St. Lucie County case no:  14 CF 431), carrying a maximum 5 year prison sentence, was DROPPED.   Defendant was charged with threatening persons by driving her car at several persons.    Investigation revealed witness inconsistencies that caused State to abandon the prosecution.
