St. Lucie County Felony Arrests

Just two days after Christmas, it was business as usual for the Port St. Lucie Police Department. At least five cases that day involved drug charges. Here are a few of them:

  • A 33-year-old New York man had a warrant issued against him for a probation violation for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Another 26-year-old man from Fort Pierce was arrested for possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana.
  • A 37-year-old man from Port St. Lucie had warrants issued against him for possession of clonazepam and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
  • A Port St. Lucie 32-year-old man was accused of a probation violation for possession less than 20 grams of marijuana.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of alprazolam and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

In Florida, a person can be charged with possession of marijuana or a controlled substance if he or she has actual or constructive possession of it.
