3 Arrested After Drug Raid at Home Near Port St. Lucie

On Thursday, April 5, 2018, investigators from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit arrested three individuals on various drug charges. The investigators obtained a search warrant to search their home at around 8:15 that night.

A couple, both age 34, were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of drug equipment, possession of over 20 grams of marijuana and two counts each of possession of a controlled substance without having a prescription, according to the arrest affidavit. The two individuals were released from the St. Lucie County Jail the next day after they both posted $18,750 bail.

The third person, another man who is 34 years of age, was also charged with possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, according to the arrest records. As of Tuesday, April 10, he was still in jail as he did not post $36,000 for his bail.

The Sheriff’s deputies confiscated over 22.5 grams of THC oil, 104 grams of marijuana, two grams of heroin, 4.7 grams of Methyl and various drug paraphernalia from the home, which is located on the 500 block of Ulrich Road, according to the police.

One of the men had driven to the home in his truck while the police were performing their search. The police then uncovered 270 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, four grams of THC oil, a sales ledger and $2,185 in cash from the truck, according to the arrest affidavit.
