Port St. Lucie Man Threatens To Kill Woman

Last Friday, a 30-year-old man by the name of Gregory Michael Firpo was arrested after assaulting his wife two days prior. The attack, which involved the man pulling a knife out the woman, striking her in the face, and choking her by her throat, falls into what attorney’s would consider battery by strangulation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and kidnap — false imprisonment. According to one affidavit, Gregory used the knife to threaten the woman’s life and subsequently cut open one of her hands with it. The woman also sustained multiple bruises on her body including her hips, arms, neck and legs.

Unfortunately this is but one crime of the many others that go unnoticed and more often, unrepresented in the Port Saint Lucie area. These crimes are what a Port Saint Lucie Criminal Lawyer would defend against and consider a specialty. More specifically, this is a crime that would require a battery criminal lawyer’s representation, which can be provided by Jonathan Jay Kirschner, Esq., & Associates, LLC.

Everyday, jails are being filled up more and more quickly by officers who are willing to ruin people’s lives and throw them in jail for petty crimes, without knowing all of the facts. With the mentality of ‘lock them up now and the court will settle them later,’ this has the potential to torment and turn some people’s live upside down. Not all crimes are petty however, such as in Gregory Michael Firpo’s case. This case is exactly the kind that requires a Port Saint Lucie criminal lawyer against the many litigants who see the unfair advantages that are present in dissolution of marriage proceedings due to domestic disputes. This is the crime that the staff at Jonathan Jay Kirschner, Esq., P.A. prepare for everyday. With years of experience dealing with similar legal claims, you can be sure that the staff at Jonathan Jay Kirschner will provide outstanding, truthful and most importantly, just litigation in your defense.

If you or someone you know have been in a similar legal situation contact Jonathan Jay Kirschner, Esq., & Associates, LLC at (772) 489-8501 immediately for a consultation.
