A 39-year-old Port St. Lucie man was arrested at his home on the night of August 15 and charged with aggravated assault with a knife. The arrest is in connection with an alleged incident earlier that night at a Subway restaurant located on Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
The arrest report filed by police stated that the man entered the restaurant with his wife and children at approximately 8 p.m. From the time he entered, the man was alleged to be verbally abusive toward his family, the restaurant staff and the other patrons inside.
