Fort Pierce MDMA Arrest Lawyer Jonathan Jay Kirschner

On the afternoon of Friday, February 21, 2020, detectives in the Fort Pierce area uncovered around 20 ecstasy pills, 0.56 ounces of MDMA or molly, 0.6 ounces of cocaine and a load of ammunition in an apartment they legally searched.

A man, age 39 and who lives in the apartment, located at the 100 block of Camelot Drive in Fort Pierce, Florida, was immediately arrested. He was charged with possession of cocaine with the intention of selling it, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking ecstasy.

At around 2 PM that same day, detectives from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office stated that they had a search warrant for another apartment, located at the 1600 block of Avenue K, also in the Fort Pierce area. It is still unknown why the deputies had a search warrant for that particular apartment.

Deputies reported that when they went to the home, they found the man and a friend of his in addition to 20 ecstasy pills, 16 grams of MDMA, 17 grams of cocaine and ammunition in the apartment.

The man who was arrested told the police he had been living at the apartment with a friend for only around a month and a half. In addition, he told the deputies that all he did was smoke marijuana and that he didn’t know where all the other drugs came from or how they got into the apartment.

The police didn’t believe the man and arrested him regardless due to all the evidence. They brought him to the St. Lucie County Jail, where he was later released on a bond of $45,750.
