Fort Pierce Man Accused of Firing Multiple Shots

In the Fort Pierce area of Florida, on New Year’s Eve, a man was accused of using firearms to shoot multiple times while in an alley. The individual in question was a young man of 31 years of age and who resides on the 2700 block of Booker Street in Fort Pierce, Florida. He was arrested and subsequently given multiple charges, including possession of a weapon or ammunition by a felon, firing a gun in public and for being a felon who was carrying a concealed firearm.

On the night of Monday, December 31, 2018, the police in Fort Pierce stated that they heard multiple gunshots being fired and discovered they were emanating from the 100 block of North 29th Street in Fort Pierce in an alley.

Once the police arrived at the scene, they reported that they found used gunshot shells on the ground and on the windshield of a vehicle that turned out to be a 2005 Nissan. The police officers then performed a search and located a gun on the man. In addition, they uncovered additional firearms in the vehicle, namely a Glock 21 gun and an AR-15 rifle. The police also discovered 21 grams of ecstasy in the car. The man then told them that the weapons did not belong to him.

The officers did not charge the man for the ecstasy after taking fingerprints on the bag containing it. They had yet to determine who owned the ecstasy.

A woman serving as a spokesperson for the Fort Pierce police force reported that an investigation is currently taking place into the situation.

The police arrested the man shooting the gun and took him to the St. Lucie County Jail, where he was held at a bond of $5,950.
